WhoisXML API Announces Basic Agreement with G-Search to Explore Strategic Collaboration in Japan

WhoisXML API is partnering with G-Search to expand access to its global data in Japan, strengthening local digital KYC and cybersecurity to counter AI threats.

COVINA, CA, UNITED STATES, September 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- WhoisXML API, a leading provider of domain, DNS, IP, and WHOIS data, today announced that it has signed a basic agreement (MOU) with G-Search, a Fujitsu Group company providing data services and digital solutions in Japan, to explore a strategic collaboration.

WhoisXML API serves more than 52,000 customers worldwide, including Fortune 1000 companies, with more than 60% of IT-Harvest’s Cyber 150 companies in key categories relying on its data. The company provides domain, DNS, IP, and WHOIS intelligence used across cybersecurity and other data-driven applications.

Under this basic agreement, the companies intend to explore the potential for G-Search to distribute WhoisXML API’s comprehensive range of data products to customers across Japan. This collaboration demonstrates WhoisXML API’s long-term commitment to the Japanese market and aims to provide G-Search’s customers with access to world-class Internet infrastructure intelligence.

G-Search provides a range of information services to businesses in Japan. Its portfolio includes the G-Search business information service, scientific and technical information services such as JDream III, as well as database and digital services.

“G-Search has long focused on helping organizations make effective use of business data and information,” said Seijiro Ueki, President, Representative Director & CEO, G-Search. “Partnering with WhoisXML API under this basic agreement will allow us to broaden the data services available to our customer base, as well as to innovate in the era of ‘Active Cyber Defence’ strategy in Japan, where cybersecurity becomes a mandatory part of business operations.”

Under this basic agreement, the companies also plan to explore collaboration on digital know-your-customer (KYC) use cases for Japanese businesses and on initiatives that build awareness of cybersecurity data among government and enterprise organizations in Japan. These areas are intended to extend the relationship beyond distribution as part of future phases.

"Japan has been a strategic market for WhoisXML API, and this basic agreement with G-Search marks an important step in strengthening our ability to support Japan's publicly listed companies and leading brands — turning DNS intelligence into business intelligence. We are deeply committed to the success of G-Search and its customers, and look forward to building a strong partnership," said Ching Chiao, Head of APAC and Corporate Development at WhoisXML API.
